Working with your advisor, you may be able to pledge marketable securities including equities, corporate and government debt obligations, mutual funds and other financial instruments for loans, letters of credit and derivative transactions requiring collateral. You may even be able to take advantage of similar credit facilities against control and restricted stock, or other non-margin eligible securities.
